Hi friends! Happy Friday! How was the week? I hope it was incredible. Ours started in Orlando and ended up in the tus with a sick pilot, and I jostle myself. This weekend, I look forward to the symphony, time with friends, a hike and a trip to Phoenix for the first Liv dance competition of the season.
(Soup season! I just launch a ton of vegetables, broth, herbs and beans in the instant pot, then garnish with lemon juice and avocado))
I hope you have a good weekend to come too!
Disney World Adventures:
Disney was perfection, as usual. We arrived late Friday evening and slept a little before we head to Magic Kingdom on Saturday. We spent the day to do all the rides and we had lunch at Be Our Guest. It is one of our staples, but the food was particularly incredible during this trip.
(I also had GF rolls and a French onion soup that they made without the crust)
I mentioned to the server that I was GF – She asked if there were allergies at the table and I said that I was not allergic but I avoid her for health reasons – and she brought so many gluten -free treats !!
I must admit that We were disappointed with food during our last Disney cruiseAnd food in the parks this time was better Wayyyy. Everything was fresh and delicious, and it was super easy to find options, proteins and gluten-free vegetables among the usual Disney popcorn and treats cascade. 😉
We drove in the park at 11 and had a long, quiet lunch, but we were always able to make 15 attractions and close the park.
It was our first time on Tron and it was so fun.
On Sunday, it was raining a little and they had predicted thunderstorms throughout the day.
We have worn ponchos (always buy on Amazon; they are like $ 15 in the parks), and I also brought Shoe ponchos, Which ended up saving the day !! We were completely dry and no one had soggy feet. 😉
The good news is that the rain has slowed down, there were no thunderstorms and that we were able to make all the rides and the attractions. I have a strange fear of dinosaurs – I think it’s because they were real at some point, but they really panicked me – and the family convinced me to conquer my fear and go for a walk Dinosaurs.
It went very well lol.
The avatar rides were a well -necessary palate cleanser – the passage flight is epic each time.
We saw the Lion King Show (so good) and had lunch at the Cante’li canteen.
(Chicken, sweet potatoes, shower salad)
We ended the evening at Disney Springs and we woke up early for our Monday morning flight!
It was a quick trip, but it was an explosion and the ideal way to celebrate Liv’s 13th anniversary.
Here are some favorite discoveries of the week:
1.24 Friday Faves
Mode + beauty + random:
Dirty tuckernuck! There are so many incredible finds in this sale, but I had a restraint and I ordered three dresses:
This classic dress that you can dress or downwards
Excited to wear this dress with white sneakers
And This pink shirt
Love everything Veronica Beard right now.
Read, look, listen:
Read this book and feel inspired.
When misfortune is the soul that shouts for food.
My friend Julie mentioned the show Younger Today too, and I just discovered it and I fell in love with it last week. He appeared on my Netflix “recommends for you” and I had no idea that it was an older program – I thought it was brand new. I said to myself: “Wow, between that and Hugh Jackman, Sutton Foster really has a moment right now.” It’s full of mind, fun, romantic, and I appreciated it while walking on my walking cushion.
Fitness, health, life and good dishes:
New toothpaste! I followed Dr B And Dr Staci On Instagram for a while, I was delighted to try their brand. It is * very * sweet but I like the ingredients and he seems to do good work so far. If you are looking for a cleaner toothpaste option, check it! P tried it last night and loves it.
I ordered a case of this hydrogen water and although the taste was incredible, the shipment was horrible. It took an eternity to send and half of the cans were bumpy, so I have mixed feelings about this.
Salted chocolate pudding… omggggg
Thank you very much for stopping in the blog today! Have an incredible weekend and I will see you soon!
xoxo
