Aston Villa approaches an agreement to guarantee the Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford on loan before the deadline for transfer on Monday.

According to BBC SportDiscussions between clubs have progressed considerably, although certain details must still be postponed before confirmation of the agreement.

The possibility of playing under the direction of Villa Unai Emery would be a key factor to attract the 27 -year -old striker.

Rashford has not appeared for United since he was abandoned by head coach Ruben Amorim for the Manchester derby on December 12.

AMORIM’s recent comments highlighted his dissatisfaction with the commitment of Rashford.

The Portuguese coach even suggested last week that he would prefer to give a bench place to his 63 -year -old goalkeeper rather than the international in England, citing a lack of effort perceived.

Despite these criticisms, Amorim recognized AMORIM of Rashford on Wednesday at a press conference, declaring: “Imagine a talent like Rashford, our team should be so much better with him – but he has to change. If he changes, we are more than welcome [to include him] – And we need it. But right now, we have to establish standards. We are waiting for Rashford, if he wants it really bad. »»

Rashford, who has been with Manchester United for his seven years, has accumulated more than 400 appearances for the club.

His achievements include the victory of the Europa League, two FA cups and two EFL cups. Under Amorim’s mandate, he first had an impact, marking a 1-1 draw against Ipswich on November 24 and by filling twice in a 4-0 victory against Everton the following week.

However, Rashford was omitted from the team for United 2-1 victory against Manchester City on December 15. He then expressed his desire for a “new challenge”.

In this transfer window, Villa has already added the Spanish rear Andre Garcia de Levante and the Dutch striker Donyell Malen of Borussia Dortmund to their team.

On the outgoing side, the Colombian striker Jhon Duran joined the holding of the Saudi Pro League al-Nassr in an agreement which could reach 71 million pounds sterling.

Villa has also refused an arsenal offer for the English striker Ollie Watkins.
