Casemiro says it is “too early” to determine if it will stay in Manchester United next season.
The Brazilian midfielder, who saw his playing time reduced under the manager Ruben Amorim, also expressed his desire for more minutes on the field.
The 33 -year -old man is currently under contract in Old Trafford until 2026, but with United seeking to reduce his wage bill, speculation has increased concerning a potential departure in the next transfer window.
Speaking of his future, Casemiro suggested that all decisions would probably be made of summer.
“It is too early to talk about next season, but of course, I have another year of contract, then an option,” he said. “We have important matches and Sunday we have arsenal.

Since he joined Manchester United from Real Madrid in 2022, Casemiro played a key role in the midfield.
However, since Amorim took care of in November, he limited himself to only seven departures. With doubts about the physical condition of Manuel Ugarte – which was absent from the recent 1-1 draw of United with Real Sociedad – Casemiro could appear against Arsenal this weekend.
Despite his reduced role, the experienced midfielder clearly indicated that he was determined to do his best for the team while recognizing his desire for more playing time.
“Of course, I want to play, but I always say, and these are my values, I respect the coach a lot, I respect the club,” he added. “Every day, I go to Carrington or Old Trafford, I try to do my best. If a player is on the bench and is happy, this player is worth nothing for a team.
