An overview of the books I read in February and if I recommend adding them to your collection.
Hi friends! How are you doing? I hope you enjoy the week so far! I teach a bar lesson today and I look forward to an appointment of juice with a friend.
For today’s post, I share an overview of the books that I read in February and if I recommend adding them to your TBR list. After being in crisis with books for a while and with the launch Healing code + Work on IHP3I read three pounds last month, which I call a victory.
Here is the full roundup:

I became interested in Chinese historical fiction (loved Lady Tan Women’s Circle) And this one drew my attention. This book Talk to the history of Little Flower, which is sold like a Muiazi (MaidSsernant) to an eminent family. It has linked the feet and is talented in the Empers of Empers, which are two characteristics generally reserved for the upper classes. This book was full of action – it started quickly and kept the same rhythm, which facilitated reading quickly – but broke my heart. This testified to the power of resilience, even if it seems that everything is stacked against your favor. 10/10 – I highly recommend it if you appreciate historical fiction.

1800s China. The closely linked feet, or “golden lilies”, are the mark of an honorable woman, eclipping beauty, a rich dowry and even the line in the challenges of marriage. When Little Flower is sold as a servant – a Muizai – in Linjing, a daughter of the Fong family, she clings to the hope that a day her golden lilies will lead her from slavery.
Not only Little Flower has linked feet, rare for a Muizai, but it is extraordinarily endowed with embroidery, a skill associated with the highest class of a woman. Resetential of his talents, Linjing does everything in his power to thwart the escape of Little Flower.
But when the scandal strikes the fungs, the two women are driven out in single fraternity, where the artistic prowess of Little Flower attract the attention of a nobleman. His attention threatens not only his improved status, but his life – fraternity punishes disobedience to death. And if Linjing discovers it, will she sabotage Little Flower to recover her power, or will she protect her?
This was highly recommended on a Confidential Skinny Podcast, so I immediately downloaded it. It brought me peace during a few difficult days and helped me change my mind. (I haven’t shared much on the blog, but a lot of things are going on at the personal front. Everyone is healthy, but it has been difficult.) This book includes mantras and exercises to shape your thoughts to influence your reality and is filled with positive affilations. If you are looking for something listening and peaceful to listen, give it a download. 9/10

You can heal your life transformed the lives of millions of people. It is a book that people attribute to the profound change in their awareness of the impact that the spirit has on health and well-being.
In this book inspiring at the end of the end of the world, successful author and pioneer of self-assistance, Louise Hay, you will find a deep idea of the relationship between the Spirit and the Body.
Exploring the way in which the limitation of thoughts and ideas controls us and contracts us, it offers us a powerful key to understanding the roots of our physical dissatisfaction and our discomforts. Lots of positive affirmations, this practical guide will change the way you think!
Louise Hay, a successful author, is an internationally known leader in the field of self-assistance. His key message is: “If we are ready to do mental work, almost anything can be healed.” Louise Hay had a lot of first -hand experience and information to share on healing, including the way she cured herself after receiving a cancer diagnosis.
“My message is simple and not confined by borders: you can cure your life has been translated in more than 40 languages around the world and continues to heal, transform and empower the lives of so many people.
To date, I am moved by the stories of deep changes that positive affirmations have brought in so many lives. I am also happy that my work was adopted not only by my generation, but also those who followed.
For those of you who can be new in the use of affirmations, I would like to share with you what follows: every thought we think and each word we pronounce creates our future. Life is really very simple. What we give, we recover.
What we think of ourselves becomes the truth for us. I believe that everyone, including, is responsible for everything in our lives, the best and the worst.
Affirmations are like seeds that you plant and wait to cultivate. I urge you to discover the power of affirmations because there are no limits to what they can bring.
This book I attracted my attention because these 4-A disorders are incredibly common in children, and I am always looking for new ideas and information on how to help children feel their best. (About half of my clients are children! I had positive results with their parents, who continued to manage functional laboratories for their kids, and have also kindly brought the word to my services as IHP2. I am so grateful and I discovered that I absolutely love to work with children.)
The author of this book, an MD, has controversial opinions on vaccines, so if that triggers you, I would absolutely jump this book. It should also be mentioned here that it is not because I read this book that I agree with everything he says, or that I believe the same things. I like to keep an open mind and listen to as many points of view and experiences as possible.
The healing program he includes is divided into nutritional therapy, supplementation, detoxification and drugs. It was not the most engaging / embellished, and some pieces could absolutely use an update with current therapies, but I absolutely learned a lot by reading this book. 7/10

Doctors have generally neglected the links between the 4-A. For years, the medical establishment has considered medically unprocessed and totally incurable autism, and has ADHD treatment that is limited mainly to the suppression of symptoms. Dr. Kenneth Bock, one of the main medical innovators, as well as his colleagues, discovered a solution that returns to the root of the problem. They found that modern toxins, nutritional deficiencies, metabolic imbalances, genetic vulnerabilities and attacks on immune and gastrointestinal systems trigger most symptoms of 4-A disorders, causing frequent error and detained mysteries.
Dr. Bock’s remarkable healing program is an innovative biomedical approach that has changed the lives of more than a thousand children. Taken from medical research and on the basis of years of clinical success, this program offers a safe and sensible solution which is individualized with each child to help remedy the deep causes. Dr. Bock also shares the true dramatic stories of parents and children who will inspire you to change the life of your own child. Hope is finally at hand.
So tell me, friends: what have you read lately and loved?
