India team will try to end the series against England on a winning note when both teams Take each other in the fifth T20i. The last match in the series is expected to be played on Sunday (January 2) at the Mumbai Wankhede stadium.

India has already sealed the series taking a 3-1 lead. After losing the third match, the men in blue rebounded in style and won the fourth T20i in Pune by 15 points. Beating first, India has recovered from 79/5 to display a large total of 181/9 in the 20 Overs allocated thanks to the half-century of Fhelik Pandya and Shivam Dube.

In response, England was overthrown for 166 points. Harry Brook scored around fifty fights for visitors, but most of his teammates failed to deliver with the bat. For India, Harshit Rana and Ravi Bishnoi claimed three counters each.

Sanju Samson and Abhishek Sharma should also be the openers in India playing 11 for the fifth game. There will be surface to give the team a good start after failing to sew a large partnership in the fourth T20i.

Tilak Varma in shape will be desperate to make amends after its bad display with the bat in the fourth game. The SouthPaw lost his counter on the very first ball he faced as he loaded the track to play a big shot and ahead of the ball to the third field player.

Captain Suryakumar Yadav also failed with the bat in the fourth game and left before even opening his account. Suryakumar has failed to direct the front team of the series so far and will be eager to end the series on a good note.

After missing the second and third T20is due to a back problem, Rinku Singh returned to India by playing 11 for the fourth game. He went out to beat when the team was in shock at 12/3 and managed to stabilize the ship by sharing a 45 -point stand with the opener Abhishek. Rinku left for 30 and will also try to contribute to the bat in the next game.

Shivam Dube and Hhelik Pandya were the choice of Indian strikers. After the reduction of India to 79/5, the two versatile marked 53 points each to guide the team to a competitive total.
