Over 44,000 Audi Vehicles have been recalled Due to a software problem that failed the dashboard failure and warning lights and the speed counter ceases to operate.
The US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) posted the recall on its site, saying that 44,387 had been affected by the recall.
Volkswagen Group of America Inc. recalled some 2021 SQ8, A6 Sedan, A7, A8, Q7, Q8, RS6 before, RS7, RSQ8, S6 Sedan, S7, S8, A6 Allroad and SQ7 vehicles due to the software problem.
“The group of virtual cockpit instruments of a vehicle can stop due to the detection of an internal defect,” said a document associated with the recall. “When this happens, engine speed (RPM), vehicle speed and gear / fashion indicators will not be displayed. In addition to this, other information, such as time, date and mileage, are not displayed. Warnings, revealing states and gauges that do not display could increase the risk of crash.”
Those who lead an AUDI 2021 model are encouraged to visit the NHTSA website, where a search for the vehicle identification number will determine if the vehicle is part of the recall.
