Manchester United finished the signature of Lecce Patrick Dorgu defender in an agreement worth 30 million pounds sterling.
The left rear has become the second signature of Ruben Amorim as a head trail of United.
The fees are included at 25.2 million pounds sterling, plus 4.2 million pounds sterling in additional modules, the defender joining until 2030, including the option of an additional year, after having gone by Manchester Wednesday to finish his doctor in Carrington.
As Sky Sports News Reported during the appointment of Amorim, the back of the left wing had been surrounded as a priority position and was the only transfer very likely to occur in this window, whatever the club situation.
Dorgu, 20, made 53 appearances for Lecce in Serie A since he joined the Danish club Nordsjaelland in 2022 and was crowned four times by Denmark.

Who is Patrick Dorgu?
Adam Bate of Sky Sports:
Manchester United’s interest in Patrick Dorgu underlines the speed with which the young Denmark international has progressed. He only made his debut in senior football last year, but the left back Lecce is already eager to take the next step in his career.
Lecce themselves, clinging decisive to their status as a series A for a third consecutive season, identified Dorgu in the famous Academy of FC Nordsjaelland even before he struck. There too, at FCN, there is pride and satisfaction with the development of the player.
“Our good scouting spotted it fairly quickly,” said Alexander Riget, their technical director, explains Sky Sports. It was necessary Riget and the current head coach of Norwich City Johannes Hoff Thorup to make the trip to Jutland to see him. “It’s a five -hour journey from here.”
They saw something in Dorgu, 12 years old at the time. He played “One An Up” in their U13 team but was not a star outside. “He was always a good player but he developed very well later, at the age of 16 or 17.” Shortly after, he left.
“His trip is a little different from many of our other players. Normally, they play 50 to 100 games, then leave for a biggest club.” Is it frustrating? “No, we were still a very important part of his trip. We are very happy with his situation right now.”
