Former English international Stuart Pearce recovers in hospital in Canada after having undergone a medical emergency aboard the United States.
The 62 -year -old was in Las Vegas to attend the super League confrontation between Wigan Warriors and Warrington Wolves when he fell ill in his flight Virgin Atlantic.

Pearce, widely considered as a fierce and intimidating competitor during his player career and nicknamed “Psycho”, appeared 78 times for England.
He was part of the Three Lions team who reached the semi-finals of the 1990 World Cup and the 1996 European Championship, and was caretaker of the male national team for a match in 2012.
