The Minister of Commerce, Piyush Goyal, during a meeting with the main commercial promotion organizations, underlined the efforts of India to establish bilateral trade agreements with various savings in order to improve opportunities for Indian exporters. The Minister’s declaration follows a context of tariff disputes underway between various countries, including pressure from the United States for India to reduce prices on American goods. Despite this, India and the United States have undertaken to finalize a bilateral trade agreement by 2025.

Goyal urged domestic exporters to move away from a “protectionist state of mind” in the middle of the buzz on alternative prices.

In light of the budgetary announcement of the export promotion mission, which emphasizes new products, markets and exporters, Goyal has encouraged the industry to provide suggestions to effectively shape the programs to achieve the desired objectives.

Recognizing the evolution of the global landscape, the minister assured that the government is working tirelessly to ensure a prosperous future for Indian exporters, both in goods and services, and to protect the interests of the nation.

“Indicating that the government has reached the last stages of ALF with little in particular, the minister was sure that he would lead to much better opportunities for Indian exporters and will also bring higher investments,” said the ministry.
