Tottenham confirm Radu Dragusin has suffered ACL setback

Tottenham confirmed that defender Radu Dragusin suffered an injury to a previous cross ligament and will miss the rest of the season.

The international in Romania suffered the injury Thursday after replacing Micky Van de Ven during the clash of the Europa League with Ellsborg.

He missed the victory at Brentford on Sunday with the Boss Angel Postocloou admitting after the injury “not looked well”.

And Spurs announced this morning that the 23 -year -old was facing a long spell on the sidelines.

The club wrote on X: “We can confirm that Radu Dragusin will undergo surgery for an injury to the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) on the right knee.

“Radu will be evaluated by our medical team to determine when he will be able to return to the training.

“We are all with you, Radu.”

Season ruined by injuries

This is another injury to Postocoglou, whose team was decimated for a large part of the season, especially in the defensive areas.

Van de Ven’s return is welcome, although Cristian Romero remains sidelined with the left fate of udogy fate.
