Seeks to retire, but not crazy about living in Florida? Financial analysts have recently implemented a study highlighting the best states to retire.
Personal finance company Wallethub recently published a determining research summary which American states are the best to retire in 2025.
While Florida remains a popular retirement place, the study revealed that four other states – a midwest and three Westerners – were also ideal locations.
The study, the best and the worst states to retire, has prioritized three key categories: affordability, quality of life and health care. In total, 46 relevant measures were used and analysts weighed the population of elderly by state and the adjusted costs of life.

Analysts found that Minnesota’s health resources made it an attractive state to retire.
“Minnesota has the most health care facilities, the second most important nursing homes and the third largest number of home health care per capita,” said the study. “His hospitals in geriatrics also rank as the fifth best in the country.
“Because of the major conditions of health within the State, Minnesota has the third lowest percentage of the elderly with a handicap, the fourth lowest percentage with poor mental health and the fifth highest percentage that is in good physical health. “

Wallethub said Colorado was a “great state for the physical and mental health of retirees” and noted the lack of taxes on succession and inheritance.
“He has one of the lowest social isolation rates for the elderly, and he has the 10th best geriatric hospitals in the country,” said the study about the centennial state. “It also has the fourth highest percentage of elderly people who are healthy and the third highest percentage which is physically active.”

The researchers also found that Wyoming was classically classified for quality of life and affordability, although it has been relatively low for health care. The southern Dakota was the opposite, having scores of quality of life and accessibility slightly higher than the average, but to strongly note health care.
