A two -wheeled runner in Bengaluru compiled an amazing 1.61 Lakh of the circulation of traffic fines, but continues to sail in the streets of the city, which caused the frustration of local residents and raising questions about ‘Efficiency of traffic application in the region.
The problem was revealed after a user of X (formerly Twitter), identified as Shibam, shared a post detailing the violations during the rules of traffic by the pilot. Shibam indicated that the total fines had gone from 1,05,500 ₹ last year to the current 1.61,000 ₹, highlighting the rider’s contempt for regulations, including driving without headphones.
The message presented images of the vehicle and the rider, as well as a screenshot of the Circulation Payment Application Challan showing the accumulated fines.
In a response to outcry online, the Bengaluru traffic police recognized the situation on X, declaring: “noted, we will take the necessary measures.”
The residents expressed their disbelief in the face of the lack of action taken against the rider, a user wondering why the vehicle had not yet been seized despite the growing fines. Comments on the post reflected an increasing concern concerning the application of traffic, some users suggesting that the fines could soon exceed the value of the vehicle, which led the rider to abandon him. Others have argued for stricter measures, including the filing of a first information report (FIR) and the continuation of fines through the courts.
A user laughed, “very soon, the fine amount will exceed the value of the scooter and he will abandon the vehicle.”
