Super to run with. Solid hand brake. Folds small enough for a jogger. | Always quite large, especially compared to other strollers. Heavy too. |
The joggers are tall, but the Thule does a good job not to be Also Large – or at least not as big as competition. The Thule Urban Glide 3, like its predecessor The Urban Glide 2, has a sufficiently thin form to cross the gateway separators intended to discourage my local skaters and folds a little flatier than the other joggers, it is therefore easier to pass in my entrance. It is a smooth driving and easy to fold with one hand, but at 26 pounds, it is too heavy to transport with your child in your other arm safely.
There are some changes on the New Thule Urban Glide 3 of the previous model. One is the handbrake, which is now less circular and designed rather for the ergonomic to facilitate use. Personally, I preferred the previous version, but the news is a little easier to know where to place your hand and pull and work just as well to help control your downhill speed. There is also a new extensive canopy to better shade your little one on your races, and it is available in a bunch of fun colors similar to the shine of Thule. Finally, there is a new footrest integrated into children to place their feet instead of swinging. I did not really notice the footrest improving the comfort of my son in this jogger, but it was then that he was under 2 years old, so it could make a bigger difference for older children.
Thule also sells stroller accessories that allow you to use this jogger with an infant, either with the fixation of Thule Bassinet, or one of the different car seat adapters. There is also an attachment Clerk ($ 25) And Water bottle cages ($ 30) You can buy separately to add to Urban Glide 3.
★ An alternative: THE Bob Gear Wayfinder ($ 529) is quite similar to the Thule, but folds a little bigger, is a few more books and is higher than The Urban Glide 3, so it is a good adjustment for older people. I found the height a little uncomfortable, but I am only 5’4 “. It is also a little cheaper than the Thule.
Cradle attachment (sold separately), a car seat adapter for infants (sold separately). Weight limit: 49 pounds.
