Emmanuel Latte Lath scores regularly for Middlesbrough, but is the subject of January interest from Championship leaders Leeds United.
So far in 2024/25, Emmanuel Latte Latte scored 10 goals and two assists (transfer market), which adds to the 16 goals and assist he scored for Middlesbrough in the English second division last season.
It’s no wonder that Leeds would be interested in him helping them gain automatic promotion to the Premier League.
Leeds want Emmanuel Latte Lath
THE all white would like to attack another championship team for a 26-year-old ace, while a Premier League defender also interests Leeds.
With a potential bid for Latte Lath as well, Daniel Farke and 49ers Enterprises certainly look serious in their attempts to move up at first ask this season.
Losing automatically by death last season was a blow, compounded by the final Play-Off defeat against Southampton, who are now struggling in England’s top flight.
Leeds United News have reported that the club are considering a new No.9, hence the interest in Latte Lath, however, all of West Ham, Ipswich and Leicester City have also been credited with a potential move for the player.
Reasons why Middlesbrough won’t want to lose Emmanuel Latte Lath
Middlesbrough will likely be reluctant to lose their striker, given they find themselves in fifth place in the table and are at least well on their way to a possible play-off place.
If they lost Latte Lath’s presence from the start, it could prove to be a decision they would end up regretting.
With the January transfer window more than three weeks away, there is still plenty of time to get a deal done, although it clearly won’t be easy for Leeds to complete.
Ultimately, the will of the player could decide which direction the player goes.
