A part of Rom-Com, a part of Slasher film, all good pleasure, “Heart Eyes” is in many ways the perfect entertainment for Valentine’s Day. There is a hidden killer on the theme of the holidays, a “will he be really fun”, they “do they not romance at the center of this one between the ally of Olivia Holt and Jay de Mason Gooding, And he plays with expert with two well -trosted genres. Josh Ruben, who previously directed the acclaimed video game film “Werewolves Inside”, “ And the writers Phillip Murphy, Christopher Landon (“Happy Death Day”) and Michael Kennedy (“Freaky”).

At the end of the film, after a few false moments to feel safe, Ally and Jay finally manage to master the killer, with the revelation of whom he is behind the mask. The killer meets a grizzly end, just like their twisted romantic accomplice. But as horror fans know, even when a villain Slasher seems dead, they are rarely never died. This is where the credits scene comes into play.
Heart Eyes knows what kind of film it is – even during the scene of credits
Quite late in the credits, a scene between En Marche which takes place at the training theater where Ally and Jay survived the Heart Eyes Killer massacre. Mintillating the opening scene, Ally receives a scary phone call with a voice very like the one we heard from the killer earlier in the film. It turns out that it was just his boyfriend Monica (Gigi Zumbado), who was on site to take pictures of his engagement in Jay. It looks very much like the opening of the film when the too cute couple is shot, just like their photographer.
When the camera cuts to Monica, it seems that there will be a kind of revelation, as if everything prepared the way for “Heart Eyes 2” when we learn that the killer survived, or that they had another accomplice there -Bas we didn’t know. None of this happens. Instead, it’s just a small fun label that plays with our collective expectations.
It is not a situation of Michael Myers where he miraculously survives again and again. This is what did The end of “Halloween ends” so surprising because they ended up finishing the fucking thing. Slasher fans are used to Jason Voorhees, Leatherface, Chucky or any other killer who generates enough money to justify a series to fight against another day, so improbable. This is what brings out this scene.
It is not necessarily an essential visualization of the way The credits scene in “Kong: Skull Island”, for example, was extremely substantial And fix the table for “Godzilla: King of the Monsters”.
