“I had fun riding in the desert in recent days. I picked up my rental on Tuesday, then I made local driving. On Wednesday, I went on the desert trails in the south of my brother’s house. These trails were relatively flat, so I did not have to worry about jumping over the rocks or going through washes, because I am not a very good biker.

Later in the day, we went to Flagstaff to see the Lowell Observatory. It was a really fun trip. It was interesting to look at the Change landscape as we gain in elevation, going from the desert relatively dry to pine forests. The observatory is at the top of a mountain with beautiful landscapes, and it was a very interesting visit. They have a nice museum and good visits.

Thursday, I found the paths of the Phoenix Canal, in particular the southern branch of the Highline Trail, and I traveled it for several kilometers, which was fun. Then, I found the pima canyon desert trails in 20,000 (around 4200 ha) Mountain Park. The trails were quite flat for me, and I liked to roll them. I finished with local driving. It is a beautiful region to visit in winter. »»
