In key battles through the continent, Galatasaray sought to retaliate with a heavy deficit against the Dutch side Az Alkmaar.

The Roma fought so that their home advantage has to have Porto.

And Ajax simply needed to see its home match to progress.

Galatasaray 2-2 (3-6) Az Alkmaar

Galatasaray and Az Alkmaar played a 2-2 draw in Türkiye, but the Dutch side has progressed comfortably.

Visitors took the lead in the first half thanks to Seiya Maikuma, although with a huge chance of luck. The AZ striker was discussed inside the box, but the ball has rebounded his leg and exceeded the helpless goalkeeper.

Roma 3-2 Porto (4-3)

Roma has obtained its place in the Europa League in the last 16 times with a 3-2 victory against Porto at the Stadio Olimpico, sealing a global victory of 4-3.

Four minutes later, Dybala struck again, weaving the defenders who passed before shooting beyond Diogo Costa at the nearby post to place Roma just before half time.

The hopes of Porto a return took a major blow in the 51st minute when Stephen Eustaquio received a right red card for a violent push on Leandro PARDES.

Roma has capitalized on their digital advantage, dominating possession and creating several chances. Niccolo Pisilli sealed the victory in the 83rd minute with a composed finish. Porto caught a late consolation goal while Devyne Rensch inadvertently transformed the ball into his own net, but it was too little, too late.

Roma now turns their attention to the round of 16, where a confrontation against Lazio or the sports club awaits you.

Ajax 1-2 (3-2) Union St.Gilloise

Ajax won a hard victory over the Royale Union Saint-Gilloie, winning 3-2 on aggregate after 120 dramatic minutes in Amsterdam.

The USG, following the first leg, produced a superb performance in the first half to level the tie.

Kevin Mac Allister opened the scoring in the 16th minute with a well -placed head, before the promise David converted a penalty in the 27th minute after Davy Klaassen’s red card for handball on the goal line.

The Belgian team dominated possession, but Ajax has stood the time in the game.

The USG continued to move forward, but they failed to capitalize on several promising opportunities, Remko Pasveer of Ajax making crucial stops to keep its team in the game.

The decisive moment came in the 93rd minute of the additional time when Kenneth Taylor coldly broke a penalty after Burgess was penalized for handball, restaurant the overall advance of Ajax.

The local team brought their momentum in the second half, and in the 55th minute, the intelligent game of Borgan Hazard installed Vazquez for its second goal, briefly reviving the hopes of Aderlecht.
