The top four hopes of Newcastle United and Nottingham Forest become head-to-head in St James’ Park this Sunday in the Premier League.
The two parties put pressure for the qualification in the Champions League while the matches moved away but have undergone setbacks in their European offers last weekend. Newcastle has tasted A Beat 4-0 For having missed Manchester City at the Etihad stadium, while Forest was frustrated during their trips during their 2-1 defeat in Fulham.
It is the Midlands Club which is currently at the driving headquarters to qualify for the Champions League, seated third in the table and six points from Newcastle. Magpies are always a striking distance from their competitors, but may not manage to drop the points at home this weekend.
Here is 90 minutes Guide to a crunch confrontation.

Eddie Howe has confirmed that Sven Botman will almost certainly miss the battle on Sunday, while Jelinton is unlikely to appear despite the encouraging progress in his recovery after an injury. With the Carabao Cup final on the horizon, no risk will be taken with two crucial players.
Jamaal Lascelles is still missing in defense as he recovers from an ACL tear, with Fabian Schar and Dan Burn, the central defense partnership probably against the former Newcastle Forest star in front and in shape Chris Wood.
Tino Livramento could return to the departure training after Kieran Trippier had trouble against Manchester City last weekend.
Newcastle predicted programming against the forest (4-2-3-1): Dubravka; Livramento, Schar, Burn, Hall; Guimaraes, Tonali, Willock; Murphy, Isak, Gordon.
Forest should welcome Taiwo Awoniyi in the fold against Newcastle. The attacker has undergone a broken nose and a concussion against Exeter City in the fourth round of the FA Cup, but will be available provided he has a protective facial mask.
The rescue goalkeeper, Carlos Miguel, is the only concern for fitness for Nuno Espirito Santo after having undergone an injury to the hamstrings against Exeter. It should be sidelined in the foreseeable future, Wayne Hennessey replacing him on the bench.
Wood is not the only other former Newcastle employee who returns to Tyneside, with 35 million pounds of summer sterling, Elliot Anderson likely to start in St James’ Park.
Forest predicts the VS Newcastle programming (3-5-2): Salts; Morato, Milenkovic, Murillo; Aina, Gibbs-White, Danilo, Anderson, Williams; Wood, Elaga.
Forest had won in renown for their defensive file earlier this season and although they are still strong in their own third, they seemed more and more porous as the campaign turned out. Against Alexander Isak and Company, keeping an 11th white sheet in the Premier league will be a major challenge.
Newcastle produced a surprisingly lethargic performance in Manchester last weekend and has fogged in recent weeks after a strong festive fate. They will be the side offering a large part of the energy on Saturday against a deep defense and will be confident to violate their background line at some point – if they can prevent Wood from going out entirely.
