The boss of Fulham, Marco Silva, hopes to guide the chalet towards what would be a historic triumph of the FA Cup in 2025.
The West London Club will face Manchester United in Old Trafford on Sunday, with a chance to progress in the quarter -finals at stake.
History would suggest that Fulham is the outsiders against the Red Devils, but these are inverted roles this season, with Languageing United in the lower half of the table, while the Silva team pushes for a place in the Champions League.
And although it is difficult for them to sneak in the first four, given the competition of the upper half in 2024-25, there is always the possibility of gaining silverware instead.
Silva has made it very clear that Fulham takes the FA Cup with a total seriousness, and for the moment, their goal is to go to the next round.
Speaking before the trip to Manchester, he said: “We really like this competition. We want to be really serious. Our players have always been serious in their approach because we respect and love this competition.
“Our ambition in this competition is really large and we want to compete to be in the next round. It’s good when I have the impression that this ambition and this passion cross the whole team. »»

Silva will count on its key actors of Old Trafford, of which Alex Iwobi, who has been a revelation in Craven Cottage since his entry of Everton.
And the Portuguese boss admitted that it had interrupted him by learning that the Nigerian international played football on five sides with his friends during the week.
He added: “He knows he shouldn’t, but Alex is as honest as possible during a podcast. I would prefer that he appreciates his friends in a different way rather than small games with his friends.
“There is a lot to do in a different way, but he is an adorable guy. He is a football player who lives his own life in a slightly different way, but sometimes I want him to keep his goal where he should and protect him as well as possible because in the end, the most important thing for him is his work for the Fulham football club. “”
If Fulham has to beat United in their own stadium, Silva will need Iwobi to spend the rest of the week without injuring himself, with his full goal on the domestic cup competition.
