The incident occurred shortly before 5 p.m. on December 17 at the First National Bank, 750 North Lincoln Ave. in Loveland, Colorado, according to the Loveland Police Department.

Police said the man entered the bank and handed the teller a note.

The cashier, however, had difficulty reading the note because it was allegedly almost completely illegible, according to CBS Colorado.

The man reportedly became frustrated as the teller had trouble reading the bill, so he quickly left the bank, the outlet noted.

The man was captured on surveillance footage wearing a brown hoodie, green pants, a green baseball cap, sunglasses and brown gloves.
