Morgan Gibbs-White spoke strongly of the head coach of England Thomas Tuchel, describing him as “incredible” despite his departure from the team for the qualifications of the team’s opening World Cup in 2026.
Nottingham Forest midfielder was informed by Tuchel that he would not be included in the team’s initial selection.
However, after Cole Palmer de Chelsea suffered an injury on Sunday, Gibbs-White received a call from Tuchel, inviting him to join the team for the next games against Albania and Latvia.
“He phoned me and said,” Are you still angry with me, or do you want to join us, and you develop to train with us tomorrow? “,” Gibbs-White told BBC Radio 5 Live.

Gibbs-White, a key figure in the Forest League season of Forest, thought that his performances had justified a place in the England team.

Since he took the post of England, Tuchel has made an effort to connect with his players before their first games together.
Gibbs-White, who had previously won two caps under the acting manager Lee Carsley, was one of these Tuchels, before the team was realized.
