Thomas Tuchel’s first team as manager of England was remarkable for the experienced heads he has selected, but it will undoubtedly be well aware of the young talents that take place.
Jordan Henderson and Marcus Rashford are back in the fold, while Dan Burn received his first cap at the age of 32, but the call of the young Myles Lewis-Skelly shows that there will also be a path for young people in the configuration of the three German lions.
After Lee Carsley has appointed a team of under 21 filled with talents, here are five current young lions who could draw Tuchel’s attention from here to the World Cup in the United States, Canada and Mexico next summer.
Ethan Nwaneri (Arsenal)
At just 17 years old, Ethan Nwaneri was promoted to U21 Squad in England, reflecting his rapid development and potential.
The Arsenal striker has delivered a multitude of extremely impressive performance in the Premier League and in the Champions League this season, scoring eight goals and providing a decisive pass in 29 appearances.
His rapid ascent made comparisons with Bukayo Saka, graduated from his colleagues Gunners Academy, and although he and many others stand on the way to Nwaneri in the hierarchical order, his continuous ascent will make him difficult to ignore.
Liam Delap (city of Ipswich)
Liam Delap was a rare positive in an otherwise disappointing campaign for Ipswich in the Premier League this season. His physique and his finishing skills make him a precious asset, and his performances have earned him a place in the team of England U21.
Current captain Harry Kane approaching 33 when the World Cup arrives, Delap could well knock on the door for a starting place in North America.

Elliott Anderson (Forest of Nottingham)
Elliott Anderson was called to the England team U21 following its superb campaign for the sur-informatics of Nottingham Forest.
The 22 -year -old midfielder shows why the Newcastle childhood club was so reluctant to let him go last summer, with his creativity and his vision of the brilliant Ito Forest campaign.
It seems only a matter of time before the form of Anderson obtained international recognition, in particular with the prospect of football from the Champions League next season at City Ground.
Jobe Bellingham (Sunderland)
Following the traces of his brother Jude, Jobe Bellingham has made a full name to Sunderland.
His versatility in the midfield and his tactical conscience sees him showing maturity beyond his years during the promotion of Black Cats, which makes him a potential candidate to join his brother on the plane next summer.
Archie Gray (Tottenham Hotspur)
Archie Gray played in almost all positions, but his natural central midfielder since he joined Tottenham de Leeds, making his performances the most remarkable all the more impressive.
Still just 19 years old, could well emerge as a long -term response to the supposed weakness of England in the positions of the midfielder, but he will finally need a series of matches to convince Tuchel that he is ready for the World Cup.
