Walmart is set to host a “Wellness Day” during which attendees can benefit from a variety of free health tests and affordable vaccines. Some stores also offer vision screenings, in-store giveaways and wellness product demonstrations.

From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on January 11, participants will be able to visit their local Walmart store experience a variety of health exams, including:

  • Glucose
  • Cholesterol
  • Body mass index
  • Blood pressure

Participants can also receive affordable vaccines, including:

  • Flu
  • COVID-19
  • HPV
  • Mumps
  • Measles
  • Pneumonia
  • Tetanus
  • Rubella (MMR)
  • Chickenpox (chickenpox/shingles)
  • Whooping cough (TDAP)
  • Hepatitis A and B, and more

“Wellness Day” is also an opportunity for interested people to talk with pharmacists about maintaining a healthy lifestyle, recommended medications and vaccinations.

Other discussion topics may include information such as the health journeys of women currently pregnant or hoping to become pregnant.
