The Tehachapi Symphony Orchestra is proud to announce that it is now accepting applications for the 2025 Young Artist Competition.

The competition is open to Kern County residents ages 14 to 22 who play a regular orchestral instrument and can perform a standard orchestral work such as a concerto. The winner of the competition will receive a $500 scholarship and the opportunity to present their piece with the TSO.

Applications must be submitted before January 15. The finalists will perform in front of a jury on Saturday February 8 and the winner will perform at the TSO concert in May. To find out more or to complete the application form, please visit tehachapiorchestra.com.
