Meghan Markle’s new lifestyle television series on Netflix, “With Love, Meghan”, is postponed for three months due to the wildfires ravaging Los Angeles, the streaming giant announced.
The show features Los Angeles native cooking, gardening, crafting and party planning. It was set to premiere globally on Netflix on Wednesday.
Netflix announced on Sunday evening that, at the request of the Duchess of Sussex, the series was postponed to March 4.
“I thank my partners at Netflix for helping me delay the launch while we focus on the needs of those affected by the wildfires in my home state of California,” Markle said in a statement.
A trailer for “With Love, Meghan” shows Markle cooking in her kitchen, arranging flowers, trying her hand at beekeeping and spending time with famous friends.
Markle and her husband, Prince Harry, visited a meal distribution site for those affected by the wildfires in Los Angeles last week.
They live in Montecito, near Santa Barbara, about 90 miles from Los Angeles.
