About two decades later, Jim Jones is still gushing about her baby, Chrissy Lampkin. Over the years, the couple has been center of debate on marriagegiven her hesitation and eagerness to get married. While they have not yet married, he recently shared a precious moment: their first meeting.

Jim Jones remembers the first time Chrissy approached him
Jimmy shared the back story while recently chatting on the “90sBabyShow.” The rapper, who grew up in Harlem, shared that Chrissy Lampkin was also from the area.
“I had a crush on Chrissy…Chrissy is probably one of the flyest, meanest, craziest girls in Harlem,” Jim said.
The first time he saw Lampkin was at a historic place in Harlem called Mart 125, originally named Harlem Flea Market. In 2023, Harlem World Magazine reported that Mart 125 was opened between 1986 and 2002. The space served as an indoor market near the Apollo Theater. Jones said he stopped at the scene with Mase. At the time, Chrissy had short hair.
Fast forward to 2004, Jim Jones and Chrissy Lampkin met at a Miami beach club. He claims she “ran towards [him] and said some funny shit to him.
“I was like, wow, this is crazy. In my mind, I was like, “Wow, I’m nervous. » As if I was trying to find my calm. At that moment, I felt like all my composure was out the window and I feel like I’m the coolest individual in the world,” Jim shared between bright smiles.
At this point, the host pointed out that Lampkin still had that effect on Jones, given his blush. Meanwhile, Chrissy has yet to publicly react to the interview clip that’s been circulating.

Jim had already shut down rumors that he was marrying another woman
In early November, rumors surfaced on the Internet that Jim Jones had married “Basketball Wives” star Brooke Bailey. At the time, he shut down speculation by posting a video showing him holding a bottle of water while saying the world needs more. Seconds later, Chrissy Lampkin came into the background. She said, “I just drink my water and mind my own business.”
