Apple plans to open a new factory for artificial intelligence servers in Texas as an investment of $ 500 billion in the United States, the company announced on Monday.

The American technology giant said that he would work with partners to launch a 250,000 square feet manufacturing installation in Houston to produce servers for Apple Intelligence, his AI personal assistant for computers iPhone, iPad and Mac .

The new factory, which should start operations in 2026, will be part of a major investment plan to which will belong in the next four years. In addition to the new installation of Texas, Apple said that it also planned to hire around 20,000 new employees in the United States

Most of the new recruits will focus on research and development, or R&D, silicon engineering, software development and AI and automatic learning, said Apple.
