Apple’s AirPods Pro 2 headphones are on sale for $180 via Amazon. This is the first significant discount of the year and represents a savings of 28 percent. It’s not an all-time high, but it’s damn close.
The AirPods Pro 2 headphones have made a real name for themselves since their initial launch in 2022. They easily made our list of best wireless headphonesand for good reason. This is a marked improvement over the previous iteration in almost every way. The sound quality is fantastic and the headphones now feature active noise cancellation.

In our official review we have accumulated special praise for transparency mode. It sounds so natural, especially compared to some competing headphones. You can leave AirPods on during an actual conversation without even noticing you’re wearing them. Other features include lightning-fast pairing with Apple devices, hands-free Siri, and spatial audio.
Also a recent software update brought reduced wireless audio latencywhich should be ideal for mobile gaming. Another boon for players? Voice quality has improved with 16-bit 48kHz audio during live chats.
The major problem with these headphones is the price, which has been reduced slightly by today’s sale. Small gripe, touch gestures require a little practice to get right, but it’s not rocket science.
