Arsenal against Chelsea Match Overview
Chelsea will move three points behind Arsenal in second position if they beat the Gunners for the first time in seven attempts when the teams meet on Sunday at the Emirates stadium.
The Blues, which won the match for the last time with a 2-0 victory outside in August 2021, started the weekend two points above Manchester City and Newcastle and three away from Brighton & Hove Albion.
“We have two targets,” said manager Enzo Maresca, whose team sealed their place in the quarterfinals of the conference league by Beat Copenhagen 1-0 to Stamford Bridge on Thursday, passing by 3-1 on aggregate.
“Finishing [in the] Top four or five [to qualify] For Champions League… and the other is [winning] The conference league.
“This club is used to playing in the final and fighting for titles, so if we can give fans and club again this chance, I think it’s important for us.”

With 10 games from their league season to play, Arsenal’s prospects to exceed Liverpool leaders are disappearing after abandoning the points for a third successive match with a 1-1 draw in Manchester United last Sunday.
The Reds are clear by 15 points with a superiority of 14 goals over their closest rivals, who won a global victory of 9-3 at home against PSV on Tuesday to set up a quarter-final of the Champions League against Real Madrid.
“We will continue to fight to try to win every match, which is the only thing we can do for the moment, because it certainly does not depend on us,” said Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta, before his team draws the second floor 2-2.
Arsenal had been undefeated at home in the league this season before undergoing a 1-0 surprise defeat against West Ham on February 22.

Arsenal against Chelsea Team News
Robert Sanchez will replace Filip Jorgensen with the purpose of a “flexible” approach from Chelsea, Maresca announced on Friday. The Italian hopes that the transmissions of Noni Madueke and Nicolas Jackson will return on April 3 at home in Tottenham.
Defender Wesley Fofana and midfielder Romeo Lavia are also options, not having presented Copenhagen because they are not registered in the conference league.
Raheem Sterling set up the two arsenal goals at home against the PSV, but the attacker on the accommodation will not play against his parent club.
The playmaker Bukayo Saka makes good progress when he returns from an injury to the hamstrings, while striker Kai Havertz remains absent.
Arteta says he will manage the minutes of striker Gabriel Martinelli while the Brazil striker continues his return from injury.
