Emery hopes that the Ezri Konsa semi-center will be declared in shape after an injury, in particular with Axel Disasi ineligible against his parent club.
Ross Barkley, Amadou Onana and Boubacar Kamara are all absent.
Chelsea will be without the English winger Noni Madueke after having undergone an injury to the hamstrings against Brighton who will keep him away to the international break.
