Friday, the manufacturer of two-wheelers and three Bajaj Auto wheels said that it would pump 1,364 rapes or 150 million euros in its subsidiary in the Netherlands, Bajaj Auto International Holdings BV, the Netherlands.

In accordance with the regulatory deposit by the major automobile, the investment will be either in the form of a capital / capital capital in preference / loan, or other, as can be determined in due course, in one or more tranches.

Bajaj Auto International Holdings BV has 49% stake in the Austrian velos manufacturer KTM. Pierrer Mobility Group has the remaining participation in the Austrian velos manufacturer. On November 29, 2024, KTM announced an emergency restructuring.

“KTM AG is in the process of implementing restructuring measures due to high financing needs. KTM AG management assumes that it will not be possible to guarantee the necessary intermediate funding in a timely manner, “said Pierrer Mobility Group in a statement in November.

In particular, Pierrer Mobility Group had previously declared in an update of investors that he was looking for a “large -scale restructuring for KTM”.

“In addition to obtaining cash, the board of directors strives to put KTM AG on a stable operational and financial basis. In the context of a difficult economic environment, an even greater operational restructuring is being reduced to stocks both at KTM AG and at the level of the concessionaire to an economically sustainable level by considerably reducing production volumes, ”said Pierrer Mobility AG.

The restructuring process will end in February 2025.

Bajaj Auto – KTM Partnership dates from 2007 when Bajaj Auto International Holdings BV (BAIHBV) took a 14.5% stake in KTM Power Sports AG and then launched the brand in India. Baihbv gradually increased its participation to 48%. In 2021, the participation was simplified when Baihbv exchanged 46.5% of his detention to obtain a participation of 49.9% in PTW Holding AG (the parent company of the KTM group).

Currently, Bajaj Auto manufactures KTM and Husqvarna motorcycles with a small trip to its Chakan factory.

In particular, Bajaj Auto was donated to KTM exports in the quarter from October to December. “We had a little back on KTM exports. The KTM problem in the world is well known…. We had to take a blow on our export volumes this time. We adopted a cautious approach because we did not want to compromise the recovery of the money which would have been due if we had continued to export, “said Dinesh Thapar, financial director of Bajaj Auto during the post-benefit call.
