There are many more bonuses, standards such as intra-ear sensors for an automatic break in advanced options such as computer vocal isolation for the call in particular clear and space audio with head follow-up (if you are in this) via gyroscopes and accelerometers. The IPX4 water resistance of the pro 2 could (and should) be better, but they express an excellent battery life up to eight hours with a noise cancellation and 10 hours without, which was during Test and 3.5 cases.
As a real double agents, PowerBeats Pro 2 provide exclusives for both sides of the mobile power struggle. Android users get extras such as a couple with a dedicated Beat and Beat application to locate my beats, OTA updates and basic control personalization. It’s not a ton, and the lack of multipoint couple is notable, but it’s always better than the AirPods.
The buds are not surprisingly optimized by Apple, with an iOS matching with a key, a vocal vocal control, an audio sharing and an iCloud device switching, find My, and OTA updates to (hope) add it) More features later AirPod Pro 2 from Apple.
There are some missing AirPod features, including adaptive audio and Pro 2 hearing aid feature. Unlike new high -end headphones that we see, there is not Auacast (at least not yet), which could limit features such as mass pairing with public devices. Whether Apple will add Aurocast to its devices or something more owner is always in the air.
Heartbeat
As for AirPods, iPhone users can adjust PowerBeats Pro 2 features in Apple settings, where you can activate or deactivate the new heart rate monitor, if you don’t want your ears to shine like green fireflies futurists. Beats says that these green LEDs combine with an optical lens, a photodiode and an accelerometer to take heart frequency readings every five seconds when the two buds are in place.
I am not a doctor or an expert in heart rate, but examining the section to display all data in the Health Application has shown persistent measures that seemed similar to the data of my Apple Watch Series 8. Beats says that the more advanced monitoring of the watch will have priority, so I deleted mine for tests. Like the watch, the buds provide regular BPM recordings via the large table of the Health application, but they really aim to monitor the heart in real time with applications like Nike Run ClubWhich worked well for me during a quick noise race. Other iOS applications include Runna, scale, peloton, slopes, open and yaoyao. Apple says: “All Android fitness and well-being applications that have heart rate
Surveillance capacities … should be fully compatible. »»
The functionality is not as convincing if you already have a watch or a ring for constant follow -up, but it is a beautiful addition which seems futuristic, especially in relation to the previous versions of wireless pioneers like the Brag.

Impetuous beauties
It always takes me a while to warm up to the sound of rhythms, which offers a more devoid mid -range and triple and bolo bass that I usually live. However, as with the new beating pill (8/10, recommend wire), this package is more nuanced than previous iterations. You get the same fans of Punch Beats, but you can clearly feel Apple engineers behind the wheel and hi-fi chops behind the curtain.
The bass is musical and clean, even when it is slightly overestimated. Although he creates bass solos where there were none, he never obscured details in the voices or instruments with high inscription. In lighter recordings, Bass is surprisingly selected, which can lead some thunderheads to protest, but feed the buds a big … uh … beats and they hit hard.
Sometimes I found high -end instruments and effects too metallic and forward in light recordings, but it was rare, and there is real finesse here in instrumental colors and stamps. The horns, the woods, the piano and the upper synths often strike in their lyricism, while the percussion is texture and well drawn.
This stems from a great instrumental separation, as well as a precise and expansive sound scene. Several times listening with transparency mode, I was momentarily deceived by thinking that the sound came from my studio speakers because it seemed to reach from the outside, melting with the natural atmosphere of the room. It’s rare with headphones.
I wish that Apple even provides a basic equalizer to sculpt things, but there seemed to be more depth and intimacy when deactivating the modes of its ambient, which transitions microphones to adapt to your channels D ‘Ear with an adaptive equalizer.
The result of all this technology is a convincing and versatile package which should be a pretender superior to the budding athletes and beyond. With tons of features, hard -working sound and serious comfort in a sporting design, the PowerBeats Pro 2 is a second to come and the best buds that you can buy at the moment.
