Grammy-winning superstar Beyoncé pokes a little fun at Netflix – and its fans – ahead of its big Christmas halftime performance.

On the eve of the “Ya-Ya” singer’s anticipated performance during the Baltimore Ravens vs. Houston Texans game, a new promo featuring the 43-year-old has debuted.

The promo includes a nod to the streaming issues that plagued the Jake Paul/Mike Tyson fight in November.

Beyoncé jokes about live buffering issues in new Netflix promo

In the promotional clip that Beyoncé released Tuesday via her social media profiles, a crowd cheers off-screen as the “Cowboy Carter” singer slowly appears.

The camera moves slowly to capture the singer wearing a long floral shawl, high heels, a large black cowboy hat and sunglasses. She strums a banjo as she appears to perform her No. 1 Billboard hit, “Texas Hold ‘Em.”

The lens is clearly visible and Beyoncé takes off her sunglasses. As the camera zooms in on his face, the screen suddenly freezes and the famous red buffer circle appears.

Before the visual resumes, the singer lets out a slight laugh, leading her to wink and smile at the camera.

A graphic appears on the screen that says: “Milftime Show, This Christmas, Houston, TX.”

Beyoncé’s Christmas performance will include live debut of ‘Cowboy Carter’

Originally released in March, Cowboy Carter is Beyoncé’s eighth studio album and her first country effort. It has yet to be promoted beyond its three singles.

That will change on Christmas Day, when the singer’s halftime show, first announced by the streaming giant last month, takes place. This will be his third partnership with the NFL, the first being his performance in the 2013 Super Bowl.

In 2016, she accompanied Bruno Mars and Coldplay for their joint halftime lineup, which saw her stir up controversy via a performance of “Formation.”

Since then, her husband Jay-Z has renewed his partnership with the sports organization for future halftime performances, including Kendrick Lamar’s upcoming Super Bowl LIX set to take place in February 2025.

According to the Daily MailThe singer’s halftime performance could give a hint of what fans might see on a rumored world tour in 2025.

A close source says the “Single Ladies” superstar plans to unveil what is considered a “spectacular” run of shows for “Cowboy Carter” and a yet-unnamed sequel.

While nothing has been confirmed, some of Beyoncé’s most die-hard supporters believe a rock-themed era could follow her current country phase and nod to disco and dance via “Renaissance,” the singer’s 2022 album.

The insider also noted that the upcoming project would be the most “unique” yet, with “extravagant” concerts to accompany the work.

Beyoncé and her camp have remained mum on any possible future plans.

Similar to “Renaissance,” Beyoncé has yet to release visuals to accompany “Cowboy Carter”

In what has become a new norm for the singer, no official visuals have yet been released for the “Cowboy Carter” singles.

The absence follows a similar void for “Renaissance,” where she famously told fans at one of her concerts that she considered them better “visuals” than she could understand.

Talk to GQ In September, Beyoncé opened up about why she wasn’t focusing on music videos for the first time in her career.

“I thought it was important that in an age where everything we see is visual, the world could focus on voice,” she said. “Music is so rich in history and instrumentation. It takes months to digest, research and understand. The music needed space to breathe on its own.”

A statement from Parkwood Entertainment, Beyoncé’s production company, also indicated that the singer hoped to make the music strong enough to exist without visuals.

“[It gives] fans the opportunity to be limitless in their vast listening journey,” it reads, adding: “It’s once again a chance to be listeners and not viewers while enjoying every gem of immaculate production.”

Why it’s important to catch Beyoncé’s NFL Christmas halftime show early

Unlike most Netflix productions, the Ravens/Texans game is owned by the NFL.

As such, the streaming app only has one three hour window after its initial broadcast to allow for rebroadcasts.

That said, if you want to catch Beyoncé tearing up the turf, make sure you do it early!

The Baltimore Ravens-Houston Texans game — and Beyoncé’s halftime performance — premieres Christmas Day at 4:30 p.m./1:30 p.m. PT on Netflix.
