Barcelona returned to the Laliga summit with a 4-0 victory against Real Sociedad.
A clinical performance of the hosts, helped by a first red card for the captain of the Sociedad Aritz Elustondo, saw them continue their efforts for the title of the League.
Real Sociedad thought they had a dream start when they found the net just four minutes, with the reduction of Ander Barretxa leading to the deviated finish of Jon Gomez. However, the objective was quickly excluded due to a marginal offside by Jon Lopez in the accumulation, foreshadowing a frustrating afternoon for visitors.
Things took a drastic turn in the 17th minute when the captain of Sociedad Elulustondo was shown a right red card.
