The Premier League returned to an action in the middle of the week while we head to March and four games were offered to launch the procedure on Tuesday.
Brighton and Bournemouth met for a huge confrontation at the Amex with the two parties to continue a place in the Champions League this season and seeking to keep the pace of the teams around them.
During his stay in the south of London, the team resurgent Crystal Palace of Oliver Glasner welcomed Aston Villa, who also seeks to finish in the top four of the Premier League this season.
Meanwhile, Fulham went to Wolves, which is still not immune to relegation while the chalet can sniff a rare campaign in Europe.
And Chelsea hosted Southampton, placed below in what could only be considered as a Booster of trust for the blues.

Brighton won a hard victory played 2-1 against Bournemouth at the Amex stadium, with the end of Danny Welbeck.
The Seagulls began strongly and took the lead in the 12th minute when Joao Pedro converted a penalty, granted after Kepa Arrizabalaga dropped the Brazilian into the box.
Brighton continued to create chances, Kaoru Mitoma hitting the post and Georginio Rutter seeing several blocked efforts. However, Bournemouth also threatened, Antoine Semenyo forcing Bart Verbruggen in a key stop before the break.
After half-time, Bournemouth pushed an equalizer and was rewarded in the 61st minute when Justin Kluivert triggered a superb long-range strike in the upper corner.
The cherries have grown with confidence, James Hill and Marcus Tavernier are both approaching late stadiums.
Brighton manager Fabian Hurzeler replied by presenting Welbeck, and the move paid instantly. A few moments after their arrival, Welbeck hung on to Rutter’s ball and finished the distant post in the 75th minute, restaurant of the Seagulls.
Bournemouth put pressure for a late equalizer, Kluivert and Luis Sinisterra testing both Verbruggen, while even Kepa ventured forward for a last corner, but it was a goal that they would not find.
The victory raises Brighton as they continue their strong home shape in 2025, while the undefeated outside race of Bournemouth ends despite an animated performance.

Crystal Palace produced a sparkling performance to dominate Aston Villa 4-1 at Selhurst Park.
The first half started slowly, with little chance in the first 15 minutes. However, Palace broke the dead end in the 29th minute when Ismaila Sarr jumped on a rebound in the head of Chris Richard to get home.
Villa thought it had equalized by Morgan Rogers, but the goal was excluded for offside after a Var check. Palace held a narrow advance of 1-0 at halftime.
Villa was loudly released in the second half and found its equalizer in the 52nd minute when Rogers hung on to an Ollie Watkins before finishing Dean Henderson.
However, Palace responded quickly, with Jean-Philippe Mateta restoring their advance barely seven minutes later after an intelligent layoff by Ebelechi Eze.
Sarr then doubled his count in the 71st minute with a superb flight in the furthest corner. Villa pushed to an answer, but Palace refused them any possibility of clear cut.
The hosts sealed the victory in time of time when the replacement Eddie Nketiah typed in a low cross of Tyrick Mitchell to do it 4-1.
The faithful of Selhurst Park broke out to celebrate while Palace extended their impressive form in Oliver Glasner.

Fulham won a 2-1 victory over the Wolves à Molinine, with fast departures in the two halves proving the key difference.
Ryan SESSENGNO opened the scoring a few minutes from the match, finishing coldly in front of Jose SA after Andreas Pereira was perfectly balanced by bullet divided the defense of the Wolves.
Despite the early reverse, the Wolves responded well and found an equalizer in the 19th minute. Rayan Ait-Nouri’s dangerous cross has wreaked havoc in the Fulham box, allowing Joao Gomes to release a powerful strike in front of Bernd Leno.
After a very stay of the first half, Fulham again struck at the start of the second period. Rodrigo Muniz hung on to a superb pass from Adama Traore and executed a delicious chip above the SA of the onrushing, putting visitors in front in the 47th minute.
The wolves pushed for another equalizer, appreciating long spells of possession and creating several half-henancies. Matheus Cunha and Gomes both got closer, while a crucial block of Doyle prevented Pereira from extending Fulham’s advance.
While the game came into downtime, the Wolves continued to press but lacked point to pierce. Fulham saw the moments of fence, obtaining three precious points on the road.

Chelsea delivered a dominant performance while they passed Southampton with a 4-0 victory. The Enzo Maresca team took control early and never looked back in front of a delighted crowd.
The breakthrough arrived at the 24th minute when Christopher Nkunku arrived at the back post to hide his head after a stroke of Tosin Adarabioyo. Chelsea doubled their advantage a little more than ten minutes later, Pedro Neto locks on the Nkunku pass before shooting at the nearby post.
The hosts added a third just before half-time, while Levi Colwill got up the highest to powerfully directing Neto’s crossing before Aaron Ramsdale.
The blues finally crowned their dominant display in the 78th minute when Tyrique George chose Marc Cucurella, who pulled home in the placement zone to do so 4-0.
Southampton offered little attack, with its best opportunity that fell to Paul Onuachu, whose head was refused by Filip Jorgensen.
It was a professional and polished performance of Chelsea, which continues their push for a finish among the first four.
