Brighton signed Stefanos Tzima, an international under the age of 21, on a five and a half year contract in Nurnberg.

Tzimas will spend the rest of the season on loan in Nurnberg as part of the agreement with the club 2.Bundesliga having exercised his option to sign the PAOK Salonika player before selling him in Brighton.

Fabian Hurzeler said: “Stefanos is an exceptional young talent, a center-forward with a natural ability to score goals, and we are absolutely delighted to have signed it.

“He will join us in summer before next season, but we are really impatient to work with him and we think he has a very exciting future to come.”

“We will closely monitor his progress and wish him the best for the second half of the season with Nurnberg.”
