China Actions Byd Rallied Tuesday after the company announced a new technology which, according to her, can charge electric vehicles (EV) almost as quickly as you need to fill a petrol car.
Byd’s actions in Hong Kong jumped more than 6% shortly after opening, marking a new more than 52 weeks. The stock, which has been seen last time exchanging approximately 3% more, has increased by more than 44% year to date.
The share price listed by Shenzen de Byd, on the other hand, increased by 2% Tuesday morning.
He occurs shortly after Byd has unveiled a new “super electronic platform” technology which, she said, will be capable of 1,000 kilowatts charging speeds. The giant EV and Tesla Rival says that this will allow cars that use technology to reach 400 kilometers (around 249 miles) with only 5 minutes of load.
CNBC could not independently verify these claims.
“The ultimate solution is to make the charge as fast as the refueling of a petrol car,” said Wang Chuanfu, president and president of Byd during the launch event, according to a press release.
The breakthrough seems to be cutting in the heart of reach anxiety, one of the main collage points preventing consumers from going to an EV. The anxiety of the distribution area refers to the fears that the battery of the electric car is no longer a load before the passenger reaches the destination.
Xing Lei, an independent analyst of China Autos, described the technological progress of the new BYD battery platform as “out of this word” and a “heartbreaking” development for its foreign competitors.
“Just when everyone seems to turn to smartification, Byd returns right away: no no, we have not yet finished electrification”, lei said In a LinkedIn article.

Byd said that his Han L and Tang L SUV sedan will both present the new “electronic super-platform”, the two VEs having officially started the presale in China. The company added that it would create more than 4,000 ultra-fast load batteries, or units, through China, to correspond to the new platform.
Byd has not yet specified how much it will spend to build the new installations, nor when the ultra-rapid load piles will be available for consumers.
The average range of electric vehicles in the United States is nearly 300 miles (or 483 kilometers) on a single load, according to the Environmental Defense FundWhile the time required to load an EV powered by battery can take 20 minutes or several hours, depending on the car and the speed of the load point.
