The Oscar of Australia Piastri claims its first Formula 1 post at the Chinese Grand Prix with George Russell second.
Oscar Piastri de McLaren seized the first appropriate pole position of his Formula 1 career at the Chinese Grand Prix with the fastest tour to date around the Shanghai International Circuit.
The Australian, a double racing winner who previously only had sprintes poles, launched a minute 30.641 seconds a minute and was joined in the front row for the start of Sunday by George Russell after the Mercedes driver made a final effort to assault 1: 30.723.

“I did something totally different in this last round and everything came to life, the turn was great,” he added.
“I had a big moment in the first round, but everything met. I was really surprised when I crossed the line, I knew it was a good turn but to be between the McLarens – just buzzing. ”

The French recruit Isack Hadjar qualified seventh for racing bulls, a strong response to its nightmare in Melbourne, with Andrea Kimi Antonelli from Mercedes and Eighth and Yuki Tsunoda ninth for racing bulls.

“I just need to get out of it. I think it’s just time. Unfortunately, I don’t really have time. ”
