Chinese hackers have breached more U.S. telecommunications than previously thought, the Wall Street Journal reported Saturday, citing people familiar with the matter.

According to The JournalCommunications of the Charter (NASDAQ:CHTR), Consolidated Communications and Windstream were compromised in the China-related Salt affair.
