The humanitarian crisis continues to take place in Sudan while the civil war rages, leading to a “clear and high rate of malnutrition” across the country, said Jean-Nicolas Armstrong Dangelser, head of MSF mission in Sudan. Dangelser has also noted the partial collapse of the Sudan health system which has left a lot of access to health professionals and drugs. Meanwhile, the recent capture of the Sudanese army of key buildings in Khartoum has enabled MSF increased access to vulnerable populations, said Dangelser.
