A Coca-Cola dispenser remembers more than 10,000 bottles of soda extending over Illinois and Wisconsin.
According to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the recall was launched on March 6 on March 24, the FDA reclassification reclassification Recall as a class II, which is its second highest risk classification.
864 12 Coca-Cola packs are recalled-which means that 10,368 beloved soda boxes are likely to contain plastic.
The recall only concerns the 12-Coca-Cola drinking scales with a UPC code of 0 49000-00634 6 or 0 49000-02890 4.

The FDA is the reason for recall as “foreign object (plastic)”, but a reason for how drinks have been potentially contaminated were not given.
Class II reminders involve products which “can cause unwanted consequences on temporary or medically reversible health or when the probability of serious harmful consequences on health is distant”.

Coca-Cola reminders are rare, but not unknown. In January, the Society recalled “All variants” of multiple drinks produced in a Belgian installation “due to excessively high chlorate content”, although the recall has had an impact on certain European consumers.
In December 2023, 2,000 cases of Coca-Cola products have been recalled on the risk of “potential foreign material”. Of the Almost 2,000 cases recalled1,557 of them were sprite, while others were Fanta and Diet Coke.
