The veteran politician and deputy for Congress Shashi Tharoor turned to Coldplay’s inspired metaphors on Thursday to criticize the Union 2025 budget presented by the Minister of Finance Nirmala Sitharaman at the beginning of the month.
Sharing a coil on Instagram, Tharoor said: “Coldplay says” repair you “, but the Minister of Finance says” Tax you “… and politely asks you to adapt.”
But Coldplay metaphors do not stop there. “If only the budget shone as brilliant as Coldplay’s words. Instead, it looks more like the scientist, full of promises, but ultimately leaves us a question – where we are wrong? And as for the deficit, even my Moon glasses can ‘t transform this disaster into a “stars”.
It can also be seen by holding budget papers saying: “Even Chris Martin would not be able to find the paradise in these figures. But don’t worry, they will always say:” Look at the stars, look at the way They shine for you, “while grazing the light of reality and on our bank accounts”.
“While the debate on the budget ends, let’s move up and face the facts: TPS always crushes the essential elements, income tax cuts are designed in favor and fuel prices remain a tangled mess of TVA, excise and state taxes – without real effort to repair the system.
