Chelsea could be without playmaker Cole Palmer when they face improving Wolves in Monday night’s Premier League match.
Palmer has scored 14 Premier League goals this season – along with four assists – and has played a key role in the way the club plays under Enzo Maresca.
The coach said: “Cole hasn’t trained and we have three or four players who are doubts for Monday’s game because in the last game they had some problems.
“Cole, in the first half [of the last game] they kicked him so he didn’t train today, we don’t know if he will train tomorrow.

“We are counting on Cole because he is a great player. We prefer to play with Cole but if he has an injury or a problem we will find a solution.
One player who could be available to make a return is defender Trevoh Chalabah.
Chalabah was recalled from his loan spell at Crystal Palace this week and Maresca said it was an easy decision to bring him back to Stamford Bridge.
“It was an easy process considering we had a few injuries and were looking for a solution,” Maresca said. “The best solution was to call Trev back because we know him and we know he can help us.
“He knows the house better than me – he was born here!” He is very happy. I had a conversation with him a few days ago and this morning. He is very happy to be here.
“The reason he left was because of these kinds of problems, financial and that kind of thing, not just a technical decision.”
Chelsea enter the weekend in fifth place in the Premier League. They are winless in five Premier League matches (D3 L2), having won five in a row previously.
