Investing in the crypto must always be managed with great care given its volatility.
“I don’t see crypto as an asset class,” said Edward Jones Penny Pennington’s CEO on Yahoo Finance to Yahoo Finance Opening offer Podcast (video above; listen below).
Pennington added: “There is no fundamental value that is behind Crypto – however, it becomes an innovation in our market associated with blockchain innovations. It is a very real thing and will have a positive impact on our industry and on investors.”
Edward Jones continues to seek means to get involved in the bankrupt cryptography space, provided that it is logical for its customers of wealth creation, said Pennington. But it currently does not offer cryptographic products and does not rush into the market.
For the point of Pennington, the volatility of renewed cryptography may wonder about its status as a real asset – in particular as a diversification tool within a portfolio.

And it will be the root of innovation associated with things that will become more common over time, “said Pennington.
