The Blue Ridge Sub, which crosses the steep mountains of western North Carolina and East Tennessee, has suffered damage worth $ 400 million due to Hurricane Helene. Traffic is redirected, accumulating off -road kilometers and additional crew costs, while the line is being reconstitated.

For the quarter, the overall volume increased by 2 %, thanks to a 4 % increase in intermodal volume. The volume of goods remained stable, while charcoal traffic has dropped by 7 %.

The prospects for this year include global growth in volumes of 3 to 6 %, driven by intermodal traffic and goods.
