New Delhi -British singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran took fans by surprise in the city of southern India in Bengaluru on Sunday with an impromptu performance on the rue de l’Eglise de la Ville. The international superstar probably never planned that its busking will be interrupted by local police, which literally disconnected this microphone.
Sheeran, currently on tour in India with performances in several cities, was arrested in the middle of his street Bengaluru, who told him that he did not have the authorization necessary to perform in public space.
A Video published on social networksshowing a police officer disconnecting the Sheeran microphone, quickly became viral.
The local television channels also broadcast a video of a police officer heading to Sheeran, while he was released “Shape of You” and disconnect the microphone.
The police said that the singer had not had permission to occur on the spot, which is necessary to prevent congestion in the animated area of Tech Hub India.
“A member among the organizers of the event came to meet me to request permission from the street performance at Church Street. I refused because Church Street becomes very congested. Sheeran, in an article on social networks, later insisted that he had been authorized to exercise his profession on site.

Sheeran occurred in front of thousands of people during his concert planned in an outdoor place on Sunday evening, accompanied by the Indian singer Shilpa Rao.
Sheeran collaborated with the popular Indian singer Diljit Dosanjh for a show in Birmingham, England, last year.
He is in India now for a 15 -day tour, his second tour of the vast nation in two years. Before his stop in Bengaluru, he had already played in Pune, Hyderabad and Chennai, and he headed next to Shillong and New Delhi.
