Aston Villa Unai Emery impatiently awaits the “exciting” challenge to help January to sign Marcus Rashford at his previous heights.
Rashford joined Villa on loan from Manchester United until the end of the season in the last days of the January window after falling into disgrace under the boss of the Red Devils Ruben Amorim.
The 27 -year -old has not presented for United since the beginning of December, Amorim questioning the attacker’s commitment before his visit to the second city.
But his new manager Emery says he is “very happy” from the English international and says that he is eager to bring him again.
“I’m very happy with him,” said Emery.
“The conversation we had was very normal, speaking of football and what I want from him.
“I think its potential is always important. I don’t want to know the reason why he leaves Manchester United.
“I am very happy to have it here, to try to help him recover his performance.
“My challenge with him is a huge challenge. His challenge with us is also a very exciting challenge. I am very happy. “

Rashford could make his debut at Villa when they face Tottenham in the fourth round of the FA Cup on Sunday.
The Lorinee United could even be put back at the front after Emery revealed that striker Ollie Watkins will miss the match at Villa Park, joining four other absents on the sidelines.
“We are going to work tomorrow, but at the beginning, we released, not available for Sunday, Tyrone Mings and Pau Torres, Cash, Ross Barkley and Watkins,” said Spanish.
Speaking specifically on Watkins, he added: “For him, every day is important, how he feels, but for Sunday, I think he will not be available because today he has not not trained.
“Tomorrow, I think he is not going to train too, because he will need more days to recover.
“I hope it will be available for next week.”
Snubs of the Champions League
Villa was one of the busiest sides during the January transfer window, bringing Rashford as well as Marco Asensio, Axel Disasi, Donyell Malen and Andres Garcia, with Jhon Duran, Emiliano Buendia and Diego Carlos all leaving.
The rules of the Champions League dictate that only three changes can be made to the team league teams of the team for the second half of the campaign, which led Malen – which joined Borussia Dortmund – and the Garcia right being left out.
“The decision we had to make yesterday and they are absent – Andres Garcia and also, Donyell Malen,” said Emery.
“It was not a good decision I had to make, but I spoke with Andres and I spoke with Donyell to tell them the decision.”
