After having dined in a five -star hotel, the founder of Thyrocare, Arokiasswamy Velumani, passed a luxury row, released his phone and reserved an ola.
Valumani shared the moment on X, writing: “True luxury in life. In a five -star hotel portico. At 10:30 p.m. after dinner, I called for an ola.”
In the meantime, people recognized him and approached for selfies. But what drew his attention was the line of cars dear in queue behind his taxi.
“Long queue. All high-end cars are behind the Ola, waiting patiently. When I sat in the Ola, it shocked everyone,” he wrote.
The message was not just for his walk – he was carrying a message. Valumani urged her disciples to rethink the sense of wealth, to write: “When you’re tall, be cool. Be economical. Be humble. Rich and famous respect.”
His point to take? Fantasy cars could impress, but simplicity brings peace. “The issues get you high-end cars and an artificial summit. But Ola gets peace for sure,” he concluded.
The message sparked an online debate. Some have praised his philosophy, with a user writing: “True luxury does not concern wheels; it is the state of mind. Humility and peace will always exceed any high -end car.” Another said: “Very happy to hear the leaders walking on discourse on a simple life and a high thought.”
Others, however, had a more founded socket. “All these discussions work on X. If you wait Ola or Uber in Bangalore, you are waiting for eternity!” A user joked.
Another complaint has surfaced: “If only our taxi services had clean cars, much more would move to this mode. The Dirty Cars & Rotten services provided by @olacabs @uberin_support. Why can’t we have a taxi superior quality in India? “
Despite mixed reactions, the post of velumani struck a sensitive string, proving that even in a luxury world, simplicity always makes a declaration.
