Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk admitted on Sunday that Warsaw had faced a “dilemma” by fully supporting Ukraine in his war against Russia while retaining long -standing ties with Washington, whose soldiers supported Polish security.
Before meeting other European leaders in London, Tusk told journalists that “while standing on the side of Ukraine in the interest of our national security, at the same time as we, Polish, are the supporters of the nearest alliance between Poland and the whole of the West and the United States”.
He added: “Today, it seems more difficult for some, we have a certain dilemma. The position of the Washington administration is not as clear as ours, but we must overcome this dilemma. »»
