Even Nick and Vanessa Lachey Couldn’t Save The ‘Love Is Blind’ S8 Reunion

Taylor and Daniel seemed to be one of the most without drama of the season, if you do not count a pre-Honeymoon fight where Taylor accused Dan of following her on Instagram Before meeting in the show. Taylor even tried to make an awkward joke on the blunder to launch the reunion, putting the mood for things to come.

In the end, there was nothing new to report. They met, got married, celebrated Christmas together, bought a house and will surely be added to those who “discover which couples” Love is blind “are always together” which float each time a new season appears.

Well, it seems that they did not need this contract contract after all. The show spent a lot of time focusing on this aspect of the relationship, and now it is easier to see why, with the admission of Virginia that Devin did not want to discuss his “personal values” to the camera. However, the difference in these values ​​finally led him to refuse it to the altar.

Devin replied by saying that couples “did not need to agree on everything”, and although it was true, it seems that there may have been too many differences to ignore.

The reunion also made a big demonstration of teasing a “note” that Virginia found from her ex-girlfriend the day before marriage, but Devin said that he considered her more as a best friend than an ex, and the letter simply wished him well. They spoke of the time that a girl on Tiktok called Ben on social networks, which was already discussed during the show, but that is what happened after the cameras stopped rolling that seemed to be the most consecutive for their breakup. However, once she arrived, he apparently ghostly and decided not to move with her, despite all their planning. This lack of communication seemed to continue after Ben received advice from another former “love is blind” – Jimmy of season 6 – who encouraged him to be in good terms with her and to practice retirement questions so that they can know what to say in advance.

It is supposed to be surprising – shocking, even – but that does not really seem to be everything that is out of character for a guy who gives money census to give his business cards to his connections.

Okay, I’m not going to lie. I was a little surprised to see how hard Monica dug in Joey. Yes, the couple never said “I love you” before marriage, but it seemed to be Really Embarrassed by her editing, in which she seemed to play the girl who had absolutely no idea that the guy she was about to marry was simply not that.

Say what you want: Dave was always trying to get out of his relationship with Lauren. We don’t know why – maybe love is not blind after all? – But they separated because a guy told all his friends and family that he went out with Lauren just before leaving in the show.

Lauren insisted that it was only a “situation” and was never serious, but Dave has always doubled and refused to let her meet her friends and family. Obviously, this led to a breakdown even before it could go down the aisle.

In Reunion, no one was surprised when Dave “appeared” full of remorse and revealed that the “real colors” of the guys were known – that he was just a guy invented all this drama for influence and a chance to appear in a Netflix television show. Dave played the card “I’m really sorry to have messed up” while Lauren finished their segment by asking people online to lie down and stop giving him so much hatred, arguing that he was neither a “narcissistic” nor a “manipulator”.

Of course, it is not, Lauren. Do not give him so much credit. These titles belong to his sister, which we will unfortunately never meet.

Madison and Meg were after Mason in the pods, while Alex and Madison had their own link. Madison refused Mason to go after Alex, but he rejected him after being upset not to hit Mason. Meg decided not to get engaged to Mason because she felt like she was her second choice.

Now that this is clear, Meg and Mason have decided to go out with the show – several times, in fact – but apparently, it simply did not work.

This then led Alex to say that Madison acted differently on dates with him than on the dates with Mason and that he felt that she was “manipulative” during the experience. Mason accepted and said that Alex should have been “a little more prudent” with her.

Madison also claims that Alex tried to go out with her after the show, but she rejected her. She also said that he was a “different person” completely when the cameras stopped rolling and released screenshots from her dress which seemed to show him to make fun of Mason.

Meg got involved and there was a lot of blame and tips. Everyone’s eyes seemed to blunt at this stage, and surprisingly, even Vanessa Lachey did not seem to know what to say. When four people shout about who-was-and-with-what-who-what, it is difficult to remember that they are working adults and not high school students.

To close the show, the producers released the advertisement of season 6 and “Love is Blind: UK” Reality Star Ollie in order to promote season 3 of “Perfect Match”, a program that combines singles that could not find love in the various other Netflix reality meetings.

Apparently AD and Ollie were both thrown in season 3. Did they meet? Well, spoiler alert, they did it because the meeting ends with a video of Ollie falling in front of a knee and offering to publish. Although we know she says yes, we don’t know if they have “won” the series (if people really care about this kind of thing).

This is definitely an interesting decision by Netflix. Instead of waiting to tease a proposal throughout the season, they let us know from the start that they got engaged, probably in the hope that viewers will connect to see their love story to take place.

Will it work? We will just have to wait for the drops of season 3 (probably this summer) to find out.
